Custom Commission Pricing
By commissioning a unique Stained Glass work of art from EricaAnn Glass Studio, you are not only supporting an independent artist, but you’ll receive a final artpiece that is truly one-of-a-kind. This isn’t a mass production assembly line; I am one artist with two hands, creating something very special, just for YOU. I enjoy detailed designs, so you will not be seeing small, simplistic Stained Glass sun catchers in my shop, nor in my portfolio of custom work. This is my artistic profession, and while I am proud of my craft, my work is not “crafty” or “just a hobby.” On average, custom commissions take 40+ hours to create; within each of those hours, I am ensuring that the quality of my craft is at the highest level — worthy of becoming a treasured heirloom.
So, how much will it cost?
A custom Stained Glass artwork from EricaAnn Glass Studio starts at $250. Pricing is based on piece-count, meaning: how many individual pieces of glass make up your design and then a tiered per-piece-cost depending on size of the finished work. Here is an example, showing the $250 minimum:
13” to 16” diagonal measurement = 40 pieces of glass* x $6.25/piece = $250
What about something larger?
24” to 30” diagonal measurement = 80 pieces of glass* x $9.75/piece = $780
Of course, your custom commission could be between these examples, or bigger! During the consultation process, we will discuss your budget and ensure that your vision aligns. I am happy to show you a numbered image of your drawing and share the math associated during the quote process. Shipping and boxing costs, plus appropriate tax will be added to the cost of your finished work of art.
*Each size tier has a minimum piece count.
